Meeting at 17:00 at Panagitsa of Pyrgos. From 17:00-17:45 pm historical reference from the prehistoric to the newer times and walk in the castle. From 17:45-18:30 pm walk to the settlement and information about the traditional architecture, local traditions, churches, the two important scholars of the island (Kaisarios Daponte, Pavlos Nirvanas), and the “tarsanades” the traditional yards of the island. At 18:30-19:00 a visit to the Vakratsa Mansion, information about the Vakratsa family, the local costume, the medical devices by which a provincial doctor was trying to diagnose the diseases, but also the role played by the mansion as a place of political and intellectual meetings.
