Perivoliou is the last beach of the north-east coast of the island . It is only 5.2 km on the opposite side from the village of Glossa, and it’s very popular to local families because it’s not accessible by the local bus but only by feet and private car.
Facing north it is much cooler than the western beaches of the island. Unfortunately, the steepish pathway down to the shore makes the beach not suitable for people with disabilities.
At the top of the cliff there is plenty of space for free parking and a canteen which operates in the summer months for provisions (water, beverages, coffee, snacks, etc), and also offers sunbeds and umbrellas by the beach.
